Administrative Assistant

This is a Contract position in Broussard, LA posted January 12, 2022.

External Description

Merakey is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our New Orleans, LATeam.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Performs general administrative assistance functions to the Quality Assurance/Community STD/HIV Testing Program as related to overall program operations.
  • Maintains calendars. Schedules teleconferences, web meetings and in-person meetings.
  • Arranges the meeting room and materials. Take meeting minutes.
  • Analyze data and generate reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Reconcile credit card statements.
  • Track documents required for the programs’ licensure and credentialing.
  • Communicate effectively with all staff, including management as well as outside agencies.
  • Must be able to perform work accurately and in a timely manner in periods of increased workload and high stress.
  • Manage and distribute documents and information throughout the office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 years clerical experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Must pass a Louisiana criminal history background check.
