Your Responsibilities

As a Structural Analysis Engineer located in Dubuque, IA , you will…

  • Analyze steel structures using Abaqus/Optistruct to perform modal, linear , non-linear static, dynamic analysis to support the development and refinement of designs from components to assembly level
  • Collaboration with test and design as required to develop efficient analysis plans
  • Conduct correlation studies of analysis to physical test results
  • Support of product program timelines by efficient execution of analysis projects

What Skills You Need

  • Experience with FEA (Abaqus/Ansys/OptiStruct) software.
  • Strong computational and mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or academic projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 1+ years experience academically and/or professionally using FEA software
  • 1+ years experience with fatigue analysis software such as nCode
  • 1+ years design experience using CAD software (Creo)
  • Master’s degree in engineering or science


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • B.S.

    degree in mechanical or agricultural engineering
