Christus Health: Manager – Pharmacy Services

DescriptionSummary:Assists in leadership of the pharmacy department through the development and the implementation of plans and goals that are in accordance with SFCH goals and CHRISTUS Christian philosophy and values.

Responsible for the cost-effective management of SFCH resources through prudent inventory and supply control and personnel utilization, while maintaining quality service and patient care.

Ensures that all federal and state laws, rules and regulations, hospital/departmental policies and procedures are followed in all aspects of drug distribution.

Provides support to the staff in solving problems.

Promotes motivation, team work and productivity.

Providing services to patients of all ages at a high competency level.Requirements:Education/Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills a plus.

Management training and experience desirableExperience:Five years hospital experience with two years experience as an Assistant Director and/or three years supervisory experience preferred.Licensure, Registrations, or Certifications: Licensed by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy in good standing.

Residency in hospital pharmacy beneficial.
