How will you contribute?

Our Pharmacists play an important role within our community to ensure that facilities receive the medication and support they need.

This position will also serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to our pharmacy technicians.

Primary Responsibilities Practices pharmacy in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Blue Ridge Pharmacy’s company policies Reviews prescriptions issued by a physician or other authorized prescriber, to ensure accuracy and assess the appropriateness of therapyComplies with all record-keeping requirements for controlled substancesCheck all prescriptions for completeness and calculates correct dosages based on specific directions Organizes and directs technician’s workflow to certify their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, order entries, doses, and cycles Provide professional product information and assistance to clinical staff, patients, and pharmacy staff Oversees daily ordering and participates in inventory management Establishes and maintains good working relationships with facilitiesWhat will you need to succeed?

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy PharmD degree and/or residency training is preferred Active license to practice pharmacy in South Carolina Excellent verbal and written communication skills You are driven, resourceful, and someone who loves to take initiative.
