Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Education or Healthcare-related field and a minimum of one year professional experience, or2. Associate Degree from an accredited university and three (3) years of Graduate Medical Education experience.Desired: Experience working with ACGME accredited residency program.Job ConceptsThe Program Administrator is a professional position that will coordinate the Graduate Medical Education (Residency/Fellowship) program. The Program Administrator will be supervised by the Executive Director of Medical Services/DIO, and also provide support to the assigned Program Director(s). The Program Coordinator will facilitate all day-to-day functions of the assigned residency/fellowship program(s). This position requires the performance of a wide range of highly complex task within the assigned Department(s).The incumbent must be able to work independently and to establish priorities for the daily workload of the section as well as the general duties of the assigned Department(s). The incumbent will take in-direct supervision and work assignments from the assigned Department(s) Program Director. The incumbent must be able to perform the above-mentioned functions with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities and to possess the necessary physical requirements with or without the aid of mechanical devices to safely perform the essential functions of the job.Incumbent will maintain a customer-oriented awareness in acknowledging and responding to needs as they occur to assure that customer satisfaction is met at all times. Regular attendance is required to perform the functions of this position.Normal work hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm. Workday hours may be flexible to accommodate both incumbent and Program Director’s schedules. Overtime may be required based on workload requirements. Lunch and breaks are dictated by workflow. Regular attendance is essential to perform the function of this position.
