Overview:The success of Fuse.Cloud is heavily reliant on the members of our sales organization. The Business Development Manager is an employee paid with salary plus commission and is a critical team member at Fuse.Cloud. In this role, the employee is responsible for helping meet company goals of profitable revenue in B2B sales while building and managing strong relationships with executive decision makers for current and potential customers. This employee reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.Position Status:This position is exempt from the minimum wage and overtime provisions of theFLSA. This is a full-time position. Full-time employees are regularly scheduled to work at least 40 hours per week and are eligible to participate in all Company benefits subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of each benefit plan.Minimum QualificationsThese minimum qualifications have been agreed upon by Fuse.Cloud in this job class and are based upon a job analysis and the essential functions. Any request to substitute related education or experience for minimum qualifications must be addressed to Fuse.Cloud in writing, identifying the related education and experience which demonstrates the candidates ability to perform all essential functions of the position.Educational and Experience Requirements:Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED or High School Equivalency Diploma)10+ years of sales experienceStrong telephone presence and ability to communicate wellExcellent communication skillsAbility to be thorough and self-sufficientHighly motivated to succeedAbility to represent the company in a professional mannerMust be a quick learner, assertive, energetic and creativeMust be comfortable in customer-facing environments Job ResponsibilitiesAchieves sales objectives by creating a sales plan and building a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet quotaMaintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key prospects; identifying new customer opportunities.Utilizes existing relationships to network with potential customers and pursue new opportunitiesMeets or exceeds sales quota after 90-day ramp upDisplays excellence in presenting business and technical solutionsPursues business customers to build a profitable and productive working relationshipSets a minimum of two appointments dailyWorks daily in Hubspot CRM recording activity including calls, meetings, proposals and dealsAttends weekly sales meetingsMaintains a pipeline of opportunities with a minimum revenue/gross profit target (as defined by sales manager)Present, promote and sell products/services to prospective customersEstablish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationshipsReach out to customer leads through cold callingAchieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within scheduleCoordinate sales effort with team members and other departmentsAnalyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reportsSupply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.Physical Requirements:Must be able to travel to customer sites.Disclaimer Statement:Note: This is a brief description of the Business Development Manager’s responsibilities and is not limited to those described herein.
