Manage client expectations, establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client, partners and colleagues.Also, lead efforts to onboard new data, maintain relationships with data producers to ensure continuity of data.

This team is responsible for clean, comprehensive, consistent data to power accurate analytics and quality machine learning outcomes.Employees in the Splunk Analytics department work hard to achieve their assigned tasks, and the tasks of better failure detection, faster triage, faster mitigation (MTTI), faster and more comprehensive root cause analysis, and manage client expectations require unique skills to directly support our customer’s corporate objectives and enable a broader impact across the Business Units.

The Main ResponsibilitiesWork closely with internal teams and business partners to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.Provide production and infrastructure support, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, health monitoringDrive adoption and operational implementation of monitoring capabilities, dashboards, improvements, and automationProvide assessment services to determine data inputs and sources of machine data to be ingested into the Splunk platform.Performing backend administration duties within the Splunk environment.Provides technical expertise in systems, technical infrastructure, tools, modeling, internal/external interfaces, and other technical areas.

Completes complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.

Responds to and resolves technical issues in a timely manner.

Researches issues and performs root cause analysis.Actively oversee troubleshooting efforts for Web, Middleware OS, network, storage, and/or applicationsEstablish guidelines and best practices while managing deliverables and client expectations.Deliver projects on time and with the highest quality.What We Look For in a Candidate5+ years in IT Development, infrastructure, networking, architecture, administration, or securitySignificant experience working with and expertise in the Linux operating system.Experience in working with one or more source control tools like GitHub.Working knowledge of APIs such as SOAP and REST.Operational experience with a diverse range of technology areas: APIs, APMs, storage (DAS, SAN, Object), virtualization and containers (Kubernetes, Docker), networking concepts and load balancing, infrastructure-as-code (Puppet, Saltstack, Ansible ).Software design, development and scripting skills (Mandatory: Bash/shell, Python.
