How is This Role Important to Our Work?

This opportunity requires a candidate who can balance strategy and project management skills, while developing and executing on marketing initiatives.

This role is well-suited for the curious, collaborative, flexible, customer-focused, and resourceful, who’s able to build positive relationships to drive growth and acquisition.

This role is accountable for leading a variety of marketing projects, while partnering with key business partners (internal/external) to develop marketing plan strategies through execution.

This role will accept a work culture passionate about finding innovative ways to drive acquisition, producing top results, while putting the customer first.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

A Day in the Life: Strategizes, develops, and owns marketing plans for successful go-to-market health plan strategies.

Collaborates with key business partners to build and complete business strategic goals and projects to meet deadlines and objectives.

Leads marketing project reviews, updates and timelines with design, brand, SMEs, production, key business stakeholders, as well as external vendors to implement marketing plans.

Tests, learns, and looks for new and better ways to accomplish goals, while applying data and reporting metrics to support marketing measurement and efficiency.

Supports other marketing team members on key projects, as needed.

Helps build a culture of collaboration, innovation, ownership, while putting the customer first.

Experience with Minnesota companies.

Relevant health plan or health care experience.

Required Skills and Experiences: Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, plus 5 years of marketing experience.

Confirmed experience developing B2B and B2C marketing strategies.

Knowledge of traditional and modern marketing channels with a solutions-focused mindset.

Strong project management skills for prioritizing agile marketing projects and deadlines.

Experience in a customer-focused and sales-driven acquisition organization.

Ability to flex across market segments and projects based on evolving business needs.

Confirmed collaborator able to lead cross-functional teams and projects.

Strong experience managing strategy and execution of marketing deliverables in a highly-regulated-industry.

Experience demonstrating data reporting and insights.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

For Government Markets segments: Must complete and pass annual certification about the Medicare program, Blue Cross/Blue Plus Medicare products, Fraud, Waste and Abuse and other topics as the need arises by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Blue Cross.
