ABAP Development Lead

ABAP Developer CL08 Internal level(s): Level 08 Role Summary: SAP team will primarily focus on design, implementation and maintenance of SAP applications and technology for our clients.

This lead role will be responsible for managing a team that designs and build the technical aspects of the systems requirements and prototyping, as well as enhancing existing applications.

This is a client facing role that requires good communication skills/verbal and written.

Should have great coordination, communication, and management skills.

This resource should be able to provide hands-on techno-functional support on SAP ABAP functionality through debugging, DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsibilities include, but may not be restricted to: Lead technical delivery of implementation projects and be involved in business gathering for better understanding of the functional and technical design Creation of technical documentation to support the releases Build and enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures.

Ensures documentation is well maintained.

Ensures quality of coded components by performing code reviews Lead and mentor junior resources on and off the project Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor university degree in Computer Science or college graduate in software development.

KEY SKILLS Experience as a technical lead for a minimum of 3 years Minimum 7 years experience in implementing SAP-ABAP (ECC and S/4), BADIs, EDI, IDOCs, Reports, Webdynpro, Workflow Knowledge on logical databases, CDS views Participation in all phases of at least 5 full lifecycle SAP implementation Knowledge in at least 2 functional modules in SAP (SD, MM, FI) Understands development methodology and lifecycle Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented.

Well organized, good communication and reporting skills.
