ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF ALL GILSBAR JOB POSITIONS include the following.

The ability to adhere to a work schedule and regularly attend work to meet client and Gilsbar production requirements.
The ability to work in a high paced office, call center environment.
The ability to work on a computer and multi-task (such as talk and type)
The ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers, clients and customers.
The ability to focus on work and consistently perform tasks in compliance with Gilsbar and client policies and procedures.
The ability to meet assigned deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS JOB POSITION include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.
Provides specific operational support functions, duties, or tasks according to the assigned department.
Performs a variety of basic clerical functions in support of the department.
Creates, maintains and verifies records and documents in the system.
Sorts, distributes incoming mail, email and other correspondence as needed.
Assists other department employees in supporting efficient functioning of the department.
Creates reports and maintains reports as needed
Tracks received data and documents.
Sorts and scans department documentation for electronic use and analyzes scanned documents for accuracy and completeness.
Profiles scanned documents in a timely manner.
Reviews error reports and enters corrections.
Transmits entered information into database and files or routes source documents after entry.
Maintains and updates procedures for this position.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in Windows and Microsoft Office environment, including Word and Outlook.

Microsoft Excel and knowledge of insurance database system a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
