Co-Pilot for Gulfstream V

This is a Full-time position in Lafayette, LA posted November 23, 2021.

A part 91 flight department operating a Gulfstream V in Lafayette has an immediate need for a co-pilot.

This is a full-time position and applicants would need to reside locally.

Aircraft is supported by a fulltime maintenance technician and flight attendant based in our private hangar.

No Defined Work Schedule
Most flights are scheduled well in advance which will give you many days of free time between flights.

Typically, half of the flights are international with a schedule that will include travel several times per month with both day trips and trips that can extend up to 10 days.
As Co=Pilot you will assist in providing our VIP clientele with safe, discreet, and professional flying experiences while adhering to all FFA regulations and procedures.

Very few ancillary duties and hangar facetime is rarely expected.

There are occasions when we will need to meet with contractors when the maintenance technician is unavailable.
Minimum Qualifications
Total Time: 2500 hours
Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours
Jet – Turbo Prop experience is desirable
Current 1st Class FAA flight physical
Radio Operators Permit
Current US passport
Able to travel worldwide without restrictions
Strong Customer service and communication skills
Ability to relocate within 1 hour of Lafayette, Louisiana
Working Environment / Physical Activities
Working conditions are those of a typical flight operation.

The working environment is subject to varying locations and climatic conditions, variable hours and time zone changes.

The position requires physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, kneeling, twisting, climbing, squatting, bending, and lifting of bags and equipment.

Training is by Flight Safety International.
