• Reconcile the Ace statement
• Complete all payables for store manager’s or owner’s approval
• Send all receivables to outstanding accounts
• Verify that all paperwork is submitted with each new hire and file according to computer guidelines
• Post all law posters and company policies
• Reconcile all cash tills for cash over and shorts for cashiers and record deposits for store manager
• Prepare and close the payables, receivables, and daily sales for positing to the general ledger or the accountant
• Print all price changes through hotsheets.
• Ensure data accuracy within the store system (Quantity-on
– hand, dollar accuracy, descriptions)
• Make daily deposits
• Reconcile purchase orders
• Verify and balance receipts Key Characteristics:

• Dependability, which includes reliability and conscientiousnessMinimum Requirements:The minimum requirements for this position include the following:
• Education/Training: High School degree, some college preferred.

Strong familiarity of general office administration.

• Experience in a retail environment either in marketing, sales, or back office.

• Skills/Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Windows, MS Word, Excel, and other computer software.

• Knowledge of retail computer systems and electronic cash registers a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi
– task.

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business Physical Requirements:The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set fort
• Able to operate a personal computer
• Able to concentrate for long periods of time while maintaining accuracy
