Sr. Material Handler (Fri-Mon shift)

Position Summary: This position is designed to provide leadership for Material Handlers in support of Warehouse operations to ensure departmental goals are met.

This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, internal and external customer support, safety and Foreign Trade Zone Compliance Primary Responsibilities: 1.

Description: Daily Activities 50% Continuous follow up and monitoring of progress and adjust accordingly Support CSR’s and buyers as needed Monitor Andon and Streamflex tools Receiving, stocking, picking, packing Problem solving and support of Material Handlers Monitor transit locations and resolve issues as required Foreign Trade Zone Compliance Safety compliance 2.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training Education: Required: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Required: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehousing, distribution, inventory control or related function.

Preferred: Some experience in leading and managing teams Licensure/Certifications: Preferred: Training and certification in the transportation of dangerous goods is preferred Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required: Understand and demonstrate the safe use of material handling equipment Able to lead and motivate people Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Demonstrate good organizational and multi-tasking skills Preferred: Prior SAP experience preferred Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): Must be able to communicate effectively in both the written and verbal form.

Technical Systems Proficiency: Must be proficient in Microsoft office Prior SAP experience preferred but not Travel Required: None Citizenship: US Person under ITAR definition (U.S.

Responsible for the safeguarding of company tools, material handling equipment and assets of the company.

Enhance the customer experience by providing excellent customer service for both internal and external customers This position is critical to the compliance of the FTZ Nature of Contacts: This position will interact with both internal and external customers on a daily basis and will need to provide customer service in both written and verbal form.

Physical Requirements: Onsite: 100% Vision: Able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings daily Hearing: Able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms daily Speaking: Able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications daily Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): Able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools daily Carrying: Able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs daily.

Lifting: Able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs daily Pushing / Pulling: Able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools Sitting: Able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer daily.

Squatting / Kneeling: Able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving daily Standing: Able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor daily Travel: None able to travel independently and at short notice.

Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): Able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces daily.
