Enterprise Sales Acct Exec

Responsibilities:
 

The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for developing and selling SIP/PRI through advanced relationships with Small to Medium business companies that are greater than 20 employees. Knowledge in Telecommunications and experience in selling T-1 and PRI voice and data services are required. The Enterprise AE will generate new customer relationships through canvassing the high end of the SMB market space, traditionally $20K and up, also networking with key strategic partners and prospects within the NYMA footprint. These accounts are defined by the sales team in each region and approved by Management. The Enterprise AE requires less direct supervision and handles larger and more complex accounts and products. The Enterprise AE will be responsible for increasing the revenue and share of business in those assigned accounts according to a revenue plan.

 

Responsibilities
1. Market all assigned customer opportunities to increase the number of PRI/SIP customers in NYMA.

2. Work all assigned opportunities on monthly and quarterly basis to achieve all performance to goal objectives and quotas.

3. Network with key IT and phone vendor partners to promote the Optimum PRI/SIP products with greater awareness in the marketplace.

4. Solicit through daily appointment setting and direct solicitation of the multi tenant buildings (MTB’s) in each region. Responsible for providing accurate dispositions on all assigned opportunities received through (url removed); and to inform management of any ‘non-sellable’ opportunities that were assigned.

5. Understands all Optimum Business telecommunication products and services, including new and varied technological features, product equipment functionality, existing programming content, pricing, packaging and channel lineup.

6. Responsible for keeping up-to-date on all competitor’s products, services, pricing and promotions

7. Understands all phases and relevant applications of those databases utilized by the Optimum Business Sales Department, including but not limited to: (url removed), Cable data, ETS, and the Commission Website.

8. Responsible for attending and participating in all sales meetings and workshops scheduled by the manager/supervisor.

9. Identifies potential customers in a specific designated territory and follows up on leads distributed by management.

10. Demonstrates professional sales ability through the use of highly developed sales techniques and effective presentation skills, by following the Consultative Sales Model.

11. Provides constant feedback to Sales Management team regarding customer satisfaction, dissatisfaction, future customer needs and reactions to current offers as well as competitive situations.

12. Responsible for ongoing tracking and maintenance of sales activities in (url removed). Provides regular updates and adjustments to management as needed.

13. Responsible for meeting Company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis. Responsible for performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company guidelines, values, procedures and/or policies.

14. Participates in special projects and performs such other duties, as management may, from time to time, deem necessary.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
College graduate preferred with Business to Business sales experience, preferably in the field of telecommunications

Demonstrated strong oral and written communications skills.

Proven record of strong negotiation and problem solving skills, i.e. proof of past sales achievements including percentages of quota attainment.

Proven track record of success in sales of telecommunications or consumer electronics preferred, but not required. A proven track record of success in consumer sales a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Standards:

Must have valid driver’s license and full access to dependable means of transportation.

Must meet minimum installation standards set forth on a monthly basis as Minimum Sales Performance Goals.

Professional demeanor.

Regular working hours for a full-time Optimum Business Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) shall be Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. A minimum of 40 hours per week must be maintained, with a minimum of 80% of that time spent outside of the office selling. Full-Time EAE’s must successfully attain Minimum Sales Performance Goals during this time. There may be times, however, when due to business needs, local sales management, in it’s sole discretion, will modify, reduce, or augment schedules. EAE’s are expected to work all assigned schedules. (Specific schedule is designated by local sales management and communicated to EAE’s with as much advance notice as possible, as circumstances allow).

Optimum Business Enterprise Account Executive are expected to represent Cablevision (The ‘Company’) in a professional manner at all times, while they execute their daily responsibilities set forth above, or otherwise perform functions in behalf of the Company.

Walking and/or driving 70%

Presentations/Administrative duties 30%
