Come to IBM and make a global impact!The SAP IT Project Manager helps an organization implement software and enterprise applications that promote staff productivity, efficient business operations and resource usage.

They lead project teams and oversee the planning, strategy, and execution of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects.

Their main tasks include network upgrading, hardware and software installations and application development.SAP Project Managers manages an SAP team, they keep track of output and performance and look for innovative solutions to problems that may arise.

They also ensure teams adhere to the project management framework and use the right tools, processes, and reporting principles.

IT Project Managers work with different people from hourly support staff all the way to Chief level executives.

Responsibilities include:Managing the day-to-day IT operations, networks, and computer systemsCreate/Maintain project budgets and reallocating resources where necessaryDirecting the onboarding/offboarding of a project staff.Ensuring that employees are following project polices, information security and privacy policiesProviding regular and up-to-date status reports to stakeholdersEnsuring that the project is meeting deliverables by setting phase gates.

Sustaining the project after completion by devising suitable maintenance and troubleshooting methodsThe successful candidates for this position will become members of our Client Innovation Team.

You will work closely across the CIC network to delight our customers with leading edge solutions with a keen focus on quality and client satisfaction.

In addition to strong collaboration across the team, you will be virtually integrated into our deep learning and knowledge program as well as employee engagement across NA.

All resources in our CIC network may be requested to travel depending on specific client project needs.

US Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and client relationship building at the client site, as well as subsequent travel for key milestones or project initiatives.

Travel is generally no more than 50% of the time.

– Ability to maintain client relationships from hourly employees to C-SuiteExperience in Project Change Management/Requirement tracking etc.Experience in Project Financials (Budgets/Forecasting/Labor Claiming)Strong Interpersonal Skills to manage team chemistry and productivityPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise2 SAP implementations for full project lifecycle (Prepare to Deploy) SAFe/Scrum Master CertificationsPMP/PRINCE2 CertificationJira/Azure DevOps for Agile Project Tracking (preferred)MS Project or similar project tracking tool.
