Senior Manager Delivery


This is a Full-time position in Iowa, LA posted January 6, 2022.

Senior Managers provide vision, leadership, and guidance to associates; coaches and mentors direct reports to ensure an inclusive, motivating work environment, and desired business outcomes are achieved.

Accountable for performing all of Acxiom’s Expectations of a Leader and modeling Acxiom Core Values.

The Senior Manager serves as a client
– or account management’s day-to-day point of contact for resourcing a particular job family for multiple accounts or larger / more complex accounts.

The Senior Manager Delivery is responsible for mentoring and providing oversight for an assigned job family, ensuring skills are developed and career paths are established.

Also responsible for the assignment of client focus for each individual as well as ensuring each associate is appropriately utilized in their role across one or multiple clients.

What you will do:

  • Takes accountability for deliverables, ensuring quality, and managing the team’s work to ensure success
  • Manages direct communication with the client including production and development status, new solution innovations, monthly billing, expense management, project change requests and overall team direction
  • Ensures adequate solution architecture coverage for assigned account and manages client and group expectations for production demand or implementation needs.
  • Manages business area expenses within the established budget and clearly communicates spending guidelines as appropriate
  • Collaborates with other leaders to continually review and enhance operational performance and strategy
  • Acts as advisor to associates to meet deliverables and resolve problems.

    Serves as the ultimate escalation point for business-related issues

  • Establishes and recommends changes to policies or practices which affect their direct teams
  • Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, learning and development opportunities
  • Creates line of sight and translates corporate messages to the team-level through regular communication channels (e.g., regular meetings)
  • Proactively identify associate development needs (i.e.

    skills gaps) and implement plans to address them

  • Appropriately staff teams for both short and long-term needs
  • Ensures the appropriate span of control per org-level guidelines
  • Responsible for setting performance goals aligned with team and cascaded goals for reporting associates
  • Conducts performance reviews and quarterly goal setting meetings with associates
  • Partners with Human Resources on employee relations, compensation, staffing and performance management
  • Drives and ensures up-to-date production documentation materials for standard processes to follow for associates
  • Lead an agile development team

What you will need:

  • Typically, more than 5 years of experience leading and coaching associates
  • Proven leadership experience, meeting expectations of a leader at Acxiom
  • Ability to innovate and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of conventional database marketing practices and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Identity Resolution and Graph Management including known and anonymous data
  • Knowledge of Privacy issues related to digital and online data management
  • Very strong written & oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audiences effectively.

What will set you apart:

  • Internal candidates preferred
  • “Senior” level or higher in current individual contributor role (or current Senior Manager)
  • Experience with Cloud technology, Hadoop capabilities and FUSE is a plus but not required
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience as a Solution or Sales Architect
  • Experience managing large complex projects and teams
  • Knowledge of Acxiom Marketing Services and Data solutions
  • Knowledge in digital marketing platform operations, digital ad targeting platforms, application of consumer and behavioral data in ad tech
  • Financial Services Industry knowledge #GD17
