ARPR is seeking a vice president of FinTech to lead a talented team and grow an innovative practice group with current clients that span the entire financial technology ecosystem including RegTech, payments, e-commerce, cryptocurrency,and more.

The candidate who best fits this role will be passionate and deeply rooted in the financial sector of the tech industry, an expert integrated communications strategist, hold key media relationships, and be a strong content marketer.

They will also be a seasoned leader with experience managing a small team and successfully driving business development programs.

Lead the FinTech practice group by serving as our agency’s chief finance industry thought leader internally, building our team’s knowledge base and interest of all facets of FinTech (privacy, regulation, innovation, etc.).

Oversee a team of 5+, while directly managing 2+ with a goal of exponentially growing the team through the cultivation of our FinTech clients/pipeline and junior team members.

leadership team to identify and accurately forecast staffing and hiring needs and priorities.

Ultimately, this position serves as a leader, manager, resource and mentor for current and future employees across all ARPR locations, particularly for those who service FinTech clients.


Responsible for growing our FinTech business pipeline and ensuring long-term success of the practice group.

Serve as point of contact on FinTech inbound leads, drive new business inquiries, proposal development and pitches, as well as client upsell opportunities within the practice group.

Support company marketing by serving as our primary FinTech thought leader, including but not limited to blog content, speaking engagements and bylines.


Serve as strategist on 5+ key FinTech accounts holding key account relationships with client VPs ad C-suite, leading strategic client meetings, ensure quality of work product by junior team members, and develop key account plans (e.g., tradeshow activations, influencer marketing plans, product launch plans, corporate messaging portfolios, etc.).

Provide support, as needed, with technical skills (ideally, journalist pitching, analyst relations, content writing and messaging prowess) and cross-pollination of ideas/collaboration.

In addition, oversee accurate and compelling measurement of clients’ earned media, social media and marketing results, and effectively translate analytics into actionable insights to constantly drive success.


• 15+ years of integrated communications experience, with at least 5 years of agency experience required.

• Existing relationships within the financial technology ecosystem, including tech reporters, VCs, analysts, influencers and tech brands.

• Relentless curiosity, a passion for learning, a service-minded attitude and a constant desire to be your best.

• Required Experience: crafting and executing national and global media relations campaigns; managing major technology and industry tradeshow activations (Finnovate, Payments FN & Money 20/20, etc.); facilitating media trainings; leading brainstorm, messaging and content planning sessions; crafting content marketing programs; developing digital marketing programs; successfully leading new business endeavors.

• Required experience: Microsoft Office Suite, newswire service providers, media database systems, Google Analytics, Basecamp (or other project management software), Time tracking and agency accounting software

• Familiarity with: Sprout Social, CMS platforms, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot/etc., SEMrush, MOZ, Google AdWords, Canva/InDesign/etc., Mac OS
